With a huge turnout of big names this year at Cannonball it hasn’t been hard finding some top-notch rigs, from hard-hitting and efficient Enduro bikes to all-out speed demon Downhill bikes.
We wandered around the pits and grabbed a few snaps of some of the fastest racer’s bikes or anything that caught our eye.
Sian A’Hern
Last year’s Queen of Cannonball, Sian’s bike of choice for the All-Mountain and Flow is the Norco Range 29er. Rockshox Lyriks up front and a Super Deluxe air shock up back. First place in the All-Mountain makes this a quick steed!
Kye A’Hern
Sian’s younger brother Kye, fresh off 2nd overall in Junior DHI World Cup racing this season chooses a fresh Canyon Spectral for the All-Mountain and Flow races, cementing a solid 4th place in Pro Men, All-Mountain.
Tegan Molloy
Fellow World Cup racer and Snowy Mountains local Tegan Molloy is aboard a new Kona Operator.
Jai Motherwell
Freeride guy Jai Motherwell is on a Kona Process 153 with a few different bits and pieces. Hubs from BMX brand Profile, BMX style waffle grips on a Deity cockpit rounding things out.
Ben Forbes
EWS racer Ben Forbes of QLD is choosing his Trek Slash this year, with sponsors Zelvy Rims providing the wheels, Fox suspension, Magura MT7 brakes and Maxxis rubber.
